Kiddi Caru Redhill Celebrate Colour Week

Colour is a big focus amongst the children at nursery. They learn how to identify colours, discovering the names of different colours and what they mean within our environment are all very important. So, Colour Week held lots of learning opportunities, with lots of colour themed activities for all ages to get involved. Their favourite activity was the discovering the different fruit/vegetables in their water trays, especially cucumber and lime! The little ones were encouraged to name the colour and to find other items that match the same colour. It was lots of fun and the team worked really have to provide natural colours that provided multi sensory experiences. Such as, including the scent of the limes or the crunchy texture of the cornflakes.
