In October, the little ones at Ower were celebrating Halloween.
The baby room enjoyed some sensory play and carved plenty of pumpkins to decorate the nursery. The children enjoyed exploring inside the pumpkin and feeling all of the different textures such as the seeds and the pulp. The staff introduced new words to the babies including ‘scoop’, ‘carve’ and ‘seeds’.
The toddlers on the other hand were engaged in an array of fun activities. This included dressing up, rescuing spiders from webs, making potions and carving pumpkins. The children also enjoyed dancing to a range of Halloween songs together!
