Kiddi Caru Day Nursery and Preschool in Daventry is currently on the lookout for a Nursery Team Leader

As an inspiring Nursery Team Leader, you will form an integral part of the nursery management structure, overseeing an age range group, your team will consist of Room Leaders, Nursery Practitioners and support staff.

You will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of care and education for all children. Ensuring the individual needs of the children are identified and met. Along with building positive working relationships with the children, staff, parents and carers.

Experience, skills and attributes:

  • Be an inspiring practitioner with a sound knowledge of child development.
  • Train and lead staff within your area to achieve the highest standards.
  • sound knowledge of the EYFS and Welfare requirements.
  • Be proficient in leading the delivery of all aspects of teaching and learning.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Running of the nursery with and in the absence of the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager.
  • Supporting continued growth and opportunity of the nursery by developing robust and effective parent partnership programmes.
  • Ensuring all staff are committed to inspire the very best outcomes for children.
  • Acting as designated key person for an allocated number of children.
  • Ensure you observe, plan and assess children’s learning and development within the EYFS framework.
  • Developing positive partnership with parents.
  • Leading, developing and managing your room staff to ensure the best outcomes for children.
  • Working as part of a wider management structure within the Nursery.
  • Supporting team development.
