Our Kiddi Caru Taunton Day Nursery and Preschool is located on the Blackbrook Business Park in Somerset with easy access to the M5 motorway. There is ample parking to provide a smooth drop off and collection to our families everyday.
We are committed to providing high quality care to families with children aged 0-5 years. Our childcare solutions include half day and full day care, all year round, as well as free childcare with the funded scheme for 3 and 4 year olds. We understand that Childcare Choices can be confusing, but don’t worry, our friendly and informative team will be more than happy to help you find the solution you are entitled to.
Our nursery is purpose build with large, age appropriate playrooms for the children to learn, play and enjoy our all-inclusive activity programme, delivered by our very own staff and includes Sing & Sign, Boogie Mites. We also have a large sensory room for the children to explore and engage with our state of the art equipment on a daily basis.
There is so much fun in our nursery that it spills out into our fantastic outside space, that is also sectioned for different ages for the children to get outside every day, no matter the weather!
We cater for every stage of weaning and encourage the older children to take an active role during mealtimes by serving themselves. Fresh, wholesome food is prepared each day by our onsite nursery chef from a wide range of menus, checked by a qualified nutritionist.

Jay Sparkle
Nursery Manager
Jay has worked in early years settings since 2008 and has worked hard to achieve his BA honours to help him provide the best knowledge and support to his team and families.
Maria McDonnell
Deputy Manager
Maria has many years of experience within early years. She is a qualified forest school leader and loves implementing new experiences for the children to thrive and learn through play.
Emma Trott
Deputy Manager
Emma has been a part of the Kiddi Caru family since 2013. She's worked her way up to 3rd in charge and is currently Acting Deputy Manager to cover maternity leave. Emma is excited to help the team provide the best possible care for the children.
