Little Acorns is an Ofsted rated OUTSTANDING children’s day nursery and preschool in Stoneygate, Leicester. We are conveniently situated off London road, near the Co-op. Offering a central, yet spacious environment with a large on-site car park and extensive play and learning facilities, both indoors and out.
We offer several flexible childcare sessions such as half days and full days. We are open 51 weeks of the year and offer free days for children in preschool who are entitled to the 15 and 30 hours funded hours.
We keep a record of your child’s time and progress at nursery via a system called ‘Tapestry’, an online learning journal. Our team use hand held devices to instantly record and report on your child’s special moments and link them into their personal profile, which you will be able to access any time.

Fresh wholesome food is provided each day, from our wide range of menus, checked by a qualified nutritionist. The food is prepared by our onsite chef and caters for all stages of weaning and to develop independence with older children, we encourage them to serve themselves.

Joining the nursery group in 2011, Natalia has worked in a number of sites within various roles, building upon her skills, to become Nursery Manager with SENCO training and a passion for proving outstanding childcare.
Mia is a very enthusiastic and experienced practitioner who’s been with the nursery since 2011. She started her career with the nursery as a practitioner and worked her way up to Deputy Manager, with many responsibilities, including being the nursery SENCO officer.
