Our OUTSTANDING Ofsted rated Silks Farm Nursery School, set in rural Cambridgeshire between St Ives and Somersham and within easy access from Huntingdon, provides childcare to families with babies up to preschool aged children.
We offer flexible childcare options to suit your family’s needs and for preschool children, we accept the free funded hours which entitles you to free childcare up to 22 hours a week all year round.
The nursery has been providing childcare and education to the area for over 20 years and has age appropriate rooms which your child will transition through until they are ready to take their next steps to school. We have an extensive school readiness programme which will prepare them for this next stage in their education.
Fresh air and exercise is a daily part of the children’s routine. Outside we have vast amount of land for the childcare to explore, in fact over seven acres, with woodland trails, vegetable growing and animals to look after, there is plenty for the little ones to do whatever the weather.
We offer an all-inclusive activity programme from Sing & Sign to Boogie Mites, all are fun activities with lots of educational benefits which the children love to do throughout the week. There is no extra charge for these activities, they are part of the nursery day.
Our staff team are all passionate and committed to ensure your child not only has fun at nursery, but also thrive as individuals with activities throughout the day, based on your child’s interests. Our Early Years Practitioners are highly skilled, highly qualified and have excellent relationships with their key children and all families alike.
We recommend that all families book a personalised visit to find out all the childcare options we currently have available, costings, childcare savings schemes on offer and to spend time with our dedicated and knowledgeable staff.
