At Kiddi Caru and Dicky Birds Day Nurseries and Preschools, we are proud to provide exceptional education and care with every child and family at the centre of what we do.

It is extremely important to us to seek regular feedback to ensure that the needs of our children and parents are always being met and that we are continuously taking steps to enhance the overall quality of our care.

That’s why we last year we conducted a parent survey of over 1,000 parents to gain insights into all areas of function within our nurseries, such as: environment, communication, operations, quality and staff.

Parent Survey 2021: Results Overview

Our parents and carers were asked whether they agreed with the statement posed for each topic below.

We received some great overall results including great findings such as:

• Over 94% of our parents were satisfied with our care overall.
• Over 88% of parents would happily recommend our nurseries.

Our Environment

When asked to agree or disagree with the below statements about our nursery environment, 80% of parents agreed with the statements.

Our Operations

When asked to agree or disagree with the below statements about our nursery operations, 81% of parents agreed with the statements.

Our Communication

When asked to agree or disagree with the below statements about our nursery communication, 60% of parents agreed with the statements.

Our Quality

When asked to agree or disagree with the below statements about our nursery quality, 75% of parents agreed with the statements.

Our Staff

When asked to agree or disagree with the below statements about our nursery staff, 80% of parents agreed with the statements.

 

We’d like to offer our thanks all our parents who kindly got involved with our Parent Survey last year, it is greatly appreciated.

Since receiving the results of the survey, all nurseries have been involved with a ‘Five to Thrive’ plan. A detailed plan put together to ensure that the nurseries are reviewing the areas of improvement in detail, and that the they are acting on them as soon as possible.
