Sparkling Bonfire Night Celebrations At Kiddi Caru Plympton
The children and staff at Kiddi Caru’s Plympton day nursery created their own colourful firework displays for Bonfire Night.
Using spray bottles to paint with and large splatter techniques the children enjoyed recreating the effect of firework displays without any loud bangs. They used balls dipped in paint and rolled across paper, sticks, glitter paint and tissue paper to complete their explosive works of art.
In the nursery’s garden there was powder paint play and indoors the children made a make-believe bonfire to sit around and tell each other stories.
Tracey Callan, Nursery Manager commented, “Not all children enjoy the loud bangs associated with firework displays, so we decided to give them the opportunity to use their creative skills to paint their very own noise free brightly coloured displays in the nursery.”
