Parents Go Behind The Scenes At Kiddi Caru Redhill
Kiddi Caru’s Redhill day nursery will be opening its doors to parents on Saturday 23rd April between 10.30am and 1.00pm and inviting them to experience the nursery’s varied activities first hand.
While it is usually the children who get to have all the fun, parents are being invited in to see what happens behind the scenes at the nursery on a normal day and join in. Activities they will be able to try following the theme of ‘learning through play’ include treasure baskets, sand and water play and sensory play with dough, oats and paint for the under twos and playdough, Music & Movement, biscuit decorating and smart board puzzles for the over twos.
Parents and children attending are also invited to explore the nursery’s stunning gardens and balcony area and will be treated to a meal of vegetable tagine and couscous followed by chocolate cherry cake, all freshly prepared by Kiddi Caru’s on site chef.
Helen Atkin, Nursery Manager, said: “Our door is always open to parents but we like to have special days throughout the year when they can come in and get a real feel for what their child does day to day here. Our Experience Days give our existing and prospective parents an insight into our typical day, so that they can then discuss different activities with their child at home and feel more included.”
