Parents Go Behind The Scenes At Kiddi Caru Milton Keynes Walnut Tree
Kiddi Caru’s Milton Keynes Walnut Tree day nursery is opening its doors to existing and prospective parents on Saturday 17th October from 10.30 until 1.00pm inviting them to experience the nursery’s varied activities – including table painting and treasure basket play – first hand.
While it is usually the children who get to have all the fun, parents are being invited in to see what happens behind the scenes at the nursery on a normal day and join in, and there are plenty of activities for them to choose from.
For the under 2s – there will be table painting, treasure basket and natural materials play. For those aged 2 and over there will be play dough, free art, sand and water play.
Children of all ages will be able to enjoy outdoor play with building, sand play, the mud kitchen and art activities.
In addition meals of salmon pie followed by cherry cake and custard freshly prepared by Kiddi Caru’s on site chef will be provided.
Louise Higgins, Senior Nursery Manager, said: “Our door is always open to parents but we like to have special days throughout the year when they can come in and get a real feel for what their child does day to day here. It’s difficult when you are so busy and sometimes literally just have time to drop your child off and go to work – their life can become a bit of a mystery. Our Experience Days give parents an insight into our typical day so that they can then discuss different activities with their child at home and feel more included.”
