Kiddi Caru Plympton Go For Gold to Raise Money for Charity
Children and staff from Kiddi Caru’s Plympton day nursery have been wearing their best yellow and gold clothes to help raise funds for the Children with Cancer charity.
Children with Cancer is the leading children's charity dedicated to the fight against childhood cancer.
Almost 4,000 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer every year in the UK. Children with Cancer aims are to determine the causes, find cures and provide care for children with cancer.
In addition to dressing up, the children at the nursery spent the day enjoying painting and creative activities using yellows and gold materials. As a result of their fund raising activities the nursery has been able to donate over £70.00
Tracey Callan, Nursery Manager, explained: “We wanted to support this charity as it really does provide amazing support for children and families with cancer. Our children really enjoyed dressing up and painting and decorating but also learnt that other children can experience and go through difficult experiences.”
