Kiddi Caru Plympton Ice Breakers

The preschool children have become ice breakers! The team provided them with blocks of ice that had object frozen within that the children needed to break free. The team had used natural items, such as leaves, twigs, stones and gems. The children used their trouble solving skills to choose to a range of tools that they believed would help to break the ice. Some of their favourite tools that proved most useful were their toy hammers, saws and screwdrivers. This activity was a great way to encourage the children to work as a team to solve the puzzle. The use of the ice and natural items also incorporated a sensory element, with the children describing how the ice changes to water.
