Kiddi Caru Matford Jet Off To Space

The children had a fantastic time ‘travelling to space’ within their imaginary play. They decided to extend their interest and got really creative making star pictures, building rockets and decorating biscuits. They also created games outside in the garden including, ‘catching the planets’ and ‘jumping into space’. The team devised lots of sensory experiences, for example space dust sensory trays and themed play dough activities. It was wonderful to see the children’s understanding of in Space take so many forms and interests.
