Kiddi Caru Abington Park Rated Outstanding by Ofsted!

We’re all smiles here after getting a massive thumbs up from Ofsted* and achieving an Outstanding rating!

Here are some of the great things our Ofsted report had to say about us:
“Since the last inspection, the new leadership and staff team have demonstrated a tireless pursuit of excellence. Parents and the local authority comment extremely favourably about the inspiring initiatives and planned changes. Children’s outcomes have been significantly enhanced as a result. All the previous actions raised at the last inspection have been fully addressed.”

“The management team monitor staff performance and their training needs precisely to ensure that all staff consistently develop their practice to a high level. The managers use their analysis of children’s progress to help staff develop exceptional support for children’s achievements.”

The report continued to praise our staff who are extremely warm, caring and dedicated to providing innovative ways to help children learn and behave well. The inspector singled out the team’s encouragement of the child’s a sense of pride by noting their achievements on the, ‘rocket reward chart’. As well as, their recent award that recognises the superb support the nursery provides for their parents, including workshops for parents to help them prepare their older children for school fully and resources to help parents to support their children’s literacy skills. The report highlighted the excellent knowledge the team demonstrated about the children in their care and the regular in-depth summaries that capture their children’s personalities, interests and levels of development. Staff use these to identify children’s next steps in learning, aiding to allow all children within the nursery to make exceptional progress relative to their starting points.

Sharon Ryan, Nursery Manager, said: “We’re thrilled with our Outstanding rating from Ofsted and the comments from the report. I’d like to thank all my colleagues for their hard work, as it really is a team effort and we wouldn’t be able to bring this excellent level of care to the children without their dedication.”
