What is the purpose of the job?

To provide professional finance support to the Finance Department and Nurseries ensuring a prompt and efficient service.

What do you have to achieve?

  • High standards of accuracy in all aspects of payments and invoicing.
  • A good attention to detail.
  • Positive working relationships with Head Office staff, Nursery staff and clients.
  • Support the Finance Department.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the Finance Assistant in all aspects of the purchase ledger role
  • General Finance administration duties including filing and post opening
  • Ensure that cheques are written and issued to suppliers, employee’s and parents are completed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Assist with the processing of invoices for payment onto the Sage Accountancy system
  • Respond to both telephone and written enquiries in a timely and professional fashion
  • As and when required introduce spreadsheets to assist in the smooth running of the Finance Department
  • Cover at times of absence for the Finance Manager
