We operate full day care and Early Years Education across England with nurseries in geographical clusters who are supported by functional specialists and a Support Office in Basingstoke, Hampshire.

We are currently seeking a part time Professional Development Specialist to join our Early Years Development Team – working in a field-based capacity – 25 hours per week.

The purpose of the Professional Development Specialist role is to develop and deliver compliance training and Professional Development Programmes to our nursery staff teams.

We are looking for someone who has experience in developing and delivering training programmes, and an excellent understanding of how young children learn and develop, you will be a highly motivated individual with strong written and verbal communication skills.

The nature of the role requires someone who can work flexibly to the needs of the business and being a driver is essential as this position includes frequent travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver accredited classroom based training programmes to our employees to improve their knowledge and skills
• Develop and deliver non-accredited and be-spoke training programmes to our employees to improve their knowledge and skills
• Develop and deliver effective and relevant online training programmes as requested by the Head of Early Years Development
• Record keeping and training compliance monitoring and reporting
• Support with the delivery of our apprenticeship strategy and learning programmes
• Carry out relevant, necessary tasks in the absence of the Head of Early Years Development
