Headstart Day Nursery and Preschool – Daventry is currently seeking Nursery Practitioner to join their friendly and skilled team and wonderful children.

Our special nursery is in the heart of the community on the site of the Danetre Hospital and is housed within a wonderfully converted listed building which has an award winning indoor environment and surrounds our large and well loved garden

The Nursery is accessible via the A45 and M1 and has ample free onsite parking, it is also local to the Daventry Town Centre with good bus links.

We are looking for people who love the value of learning through play and are happy to get a little messy. If you’re fun and love being outdoors in any weather you’ll fit in perfectly.

In your role as Nursery Practitioner you’ll have the opportunity to join us on our journey of excellence and the honour of playing an important part of a child’s life, you’ll have experience in using the EYFS framework to plan, assess and review activities and opportunities to allow children to develop. You will be able to work with parents to ensure the cycle of care is maintained and that the children in your key group are provided the very best care and education.

You will ideally hold a NVQ level 2 or 3 in Childcare and have experience as a nominated key person, you’ll benefit from our comprehensive induction and continuous professional development programme, great employee benefits and a shared appreciation of the special job we do.
