Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q) How do shifts work? A) Your Nursery Manager(s) agrees and allocates shifts for you either in advance, or may contact you at short notice to establish if you are available to cover at short notice.
  • Q) Do I have to work the shifts I am offered? A) Communication is key and if you let your Nursery Manager know what your availability to work is they can use your availability to offer you appropriate work, once you accept a shift we would expect you to commit to working it.
  • Q) I am studying – can I be Bank Staff only during the school holidays? A) ABSOLUTELY, the simple truth is that students want to work when they are not studying in order to earn, and our permanent staff like to take their leave during school holidays – so it’s a WIN WIN situation.
  • Q) Is training provided? A) – Yes! All of our Bank Staff will benefit from a full induction and have access to our online learning and development suite where they can access our full range of short online courses.
