Do you love life on the road – travelling to and working in a diverse cluster of Nursery settings?

 

 

Kiddi Caru Day Nurseries Group is currently seeking Level 2 or 3 Qualified Field Based Nursery Practitioner to provider roaming support to our Exeter settings.

The role is offered on a full time 40 hour contract basis.

Day to day you will provide room based cover within our nurseries – and have the experience (with full training) to work with our education and development programmes as locum Key Person – and will support our nursery based teams where required for holiday, sickness and professional development cover.

As a field based Nursery Practitioner you will report directly to our regional support manager – who will plan your working week to meet the needs of our settings.

You will be qualified to level 2/3 qualification in Childcare with relevant experience in supporting children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS in a Nursery Nurse or Nursery Practitioner role.

Your will have the following experience, skills and attributes –

  • Have a full and relevant level 2 / 3 qualification in Childcare.
  • Be an inspiring practitioner with a sound knowledge of child development.
  • Be proficient in leading the delivery of all aspects of teaching and learning.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to “hit the ground running”
  • Full, clean driving licence and permanent access to a roadworthy vehicle.

As Nursery Nurse role responsibilities include –

  • Act as locum/temporary key person for an allocated number of children.
  • Ensure you observe, plan and assess children’s learning and development within the EYFS framework.
  • Develop positive partnership with parents.
  • Travel to your allocated Nursery to provide short, medium, long term or emergency cover.
