Writtle Nursery

Our nursery comprises of eight bright, homely, secure and age appropriate playrooms where children are free to explore their familiar surroundings. Every room has access to an outdoor play area that offers a variety of experiences to challenge physical skills in a larger ‘freer’ space as well as a huge communal grass area that incorporates a willow arch tunnel, climbing area and quiet area. We were extremely proud to be judged an ‘OUTSTANDING’ nursery by Ofsted in October 2009. More info

The welfare of the children in our care is paramount and through our excellent keycarer system we are able to ensure that the individual needs of every child are met. We offer a variety of resources and activities along with a stimulating environment to encourage all children to be ‘active learners’. Active learning provides children with opportunities and the tools to be life-long learners.

By working in partnership with parents, carers and other providers we are able to encourage, support and extend children’s progression. We have a ‘Friends of Kiddi Caru’ group with parents and staff as members to strengthen these partnerships and to encourage social activities for families to get to know each other better.

At Kiddi Caru we offer an environment which is safe and secure, supporting all children’s care and development, ensuring all children’s backgrounds and cultural diversities are considered through maintaining an inclusive and challenging environment indoors and outdoors.
